The Supreme Court of India has upheld reservation for the lower castes, provided they can prove that the lower caste is under-represented. the decision of the government to implement quota College and University students had vigorously protested against the proposed quota.

Chanced upon your blog through CV. I liked your blog and share your antipathy for the Hindu neo-Fascists. I do not think you need to clarify anything in the introduction. It is extremely unfortunate that across the world– and certainly in India– Muslims seem to be subjected to loyalty tests. Why on earth should anyone think you support terrorism– and in case someone does, it speaks volumes about that person’s thoughts. I bear a Hindu name– albeit a Bengali one– yet I am not required to declare I do not support the Gujarat riots anywhere. Do not submit to these rightists.
India has close to a 150 million Muslims– and they are EQUAL CITIZENS OF INDIA– and do not require to pass any loyalty test.

Arya, as I have been interacting with many people for the past few months, it is a fact that a lot of people need to be clarified. These people are very often fed with misinformation. They are not hateful by themselves.
