I know of only two major carmakers in the Muslim world-
Mostly sports cars. (Update: it’s all clear now. Careful if you are on Windows machine. The site seems to have been hacked recently.)
(Malaysia based, but the link is to their UK site)
Largest manufacturer in Malaysia. They also hold the Lotus brand in the UK, where they make sports cars.

Are we assigning religious/ethnic labels to science and technology ? If so, then what world would a Toyota or a Volkswagon be out of?

The Muslim world is quite far behind in terms of Science and technology at the moment, and we definitely need to catch up.
