It’s always easier to unite against then to unite for.
We are up against Afzal. But we don’t stand up for the widow(one of the widows) of the security personnel killed in the incident. How many of us even know that she has not got no compensation?
Look at Manipur. The Manipuris are protesting against the atrocities performed by the Indian Army. But we are not standing up for the Manipuris.
Perhaps we love to go against, rather than to go for.
You can always get a lot of people complaining against. Against terrorism, against Islam, against the US. You hardly get them talking for. Sometime they talk for themselves, but very often that is against somebody’s hints against him.
So next time you want to do something for something, better make it look like against something else.
